In 1989 The Cold War Was Supposed to End… Prepare for World in Conflict, a PC strategy game that delivers intense action and coordinated team play among the war the world feared most. A showdown between the Soviet Union and the United States.

Most real-time strategy games are set in either World War II or some sci-fi or fantasy setting. Unfortunately, this manages to avoid one of the most interesting conflicts of recent times, the Cold War.

Most RTSs that have come out recently brought some kinda innovation in to game, Like Act of War with men being able to go up on top of buildings aside from the traditional grassoning, and Star Wars: Empire at War with the "controlling the galaxy", and the troops u bring in to the battle is all u get kinda... it's quite amazing...

Not to mention the graphics that have evolved for each game... Look at BFME2 i love the water ... I can't hope to play with those details on, cause I dun have a powerful system...

I can't wait for World in Conflict either... hope to have a good system by then.. lol;)

i doubt most teenagers even know what the soviet union is. Why cant strategy games ever be like North Korea vs Zimbabwe or Nicaragua vs the Congo....leave the u.s. out of ONE game!
