Who will be the third faction?

Well, we know that the GDI and NOD are going to be in the game, but EA also mentioned that there is going to be a third faction. It might be the forgotten some say or the scirn, or are there going to be more than 2 factions? What do you guys think?

lol, the game hasn't even be officially announced by EA, and you are waiting for the demo hehe. Well you can wait one year for that I guess. Well we know the NOD and GDI are two of three factions as I mentioned in my first post. I just hope EA gives us a bit more information soon.

Tiberium transfored mutants is my bet, I remember something along those lines in tiberium sun.

Id say I agree with SmilingRaccoon and go with the mutants, something like the mutated humans in Starcraft or my second guess would be aliens since we've found their crash landed ship and developers love to do games with aliens because they get to play with really technologically advanced toys:P

I think the 3rd faction will be a risisstance of some sort or it could be mutants or more cyborgs or ALIENS!!! or FOXHOUND and the leader is psycho mantis!:wow:

Its probably going to be the Scrin. They're an alien race and if you read around on the official site they say that the Scrin will most likely be the third race. Its also believed that the Tiberium is a sort of Terraforming agent sent by them and they want our planet. Sounds pretty cool, cant wait.

I'd bet my life on the fact it'll be the Scrin. I've even added it to my site I'm so sure.

It only makes sense. Mutants would not make a strong enough faction. I wouldn't doubt if you see NOD and GDI working together to repel a Scrin invasion force. ;)

I'd also bet on the Scrin. And I could imagine well that GDI and Nod unite in the end to defeat them... just like in FS against CABAL.

I think nod makes an alliance with the sicrin then gdi helps the mutants a bit with some technolagy but you never know they might come out with 4 sides.

I've read something about the scrin/nod alliance also. But seeing they haven't even told us the third faction, everything is speculation.

Good GDI and bad NOD are in fight. The game is the demonstration of struggle between kinddess and evil. If a third fraction be embodied into game what would be its character? Is that fraction a asistant or alternetive evil?
I guess that would not suits with the notion of CnC.

We only know that the third faction are Aliens. And that the race has been present in previous C&C games.

Well I'm still staying with the mutants because in C&C Tiberian Sun they had a whole base camp and they could probably make those creatures that come out of the sea about in mission 5, I dunno to long ago

well it siad that the mutants were dieing out so they asked NOD to lend them some humans in exchange for tiberium so NOD breeded their own mutants so then these mutants joined the other mutants so its the mutants.

The third faction are the Scrin, it has been confirmed by EA Predator too. You had to find out the code in the newsletter :).
