XBOX 360 vs. PS3 vs. Wii

The new generation of console games, Microsoft's XBOX 360, Sony's PlayStation 3, and Nintendo's Wii, are finally released! Which one is the best?

You cant really put a title on who is the best b/c they all offer different things. IMO, the Wii is the best.

Well based on what they each offer, decide which one is best.

For me:

XBOX 360 is only worth it for Halo fans. I'm not one, so I could care less.

Wii looks by far the coolest. The new controller is a revolution in game consoles. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will also turn out to be one of the best games EVER, alongside its predecessor, Ocarina of Time. (Huge Zelda fan ;))

PlayStation 3, however, is the best deal. It can Blu-ray DVDs. Blu-ray DVDs on the market are over $1000. Even if you don't play games on it, this console is a must get for home-theater owners.

and anyways Wii gona owns...just think about jumping etc etc at home with the controlers on the hand ..gona be great :)

I vote for Wii cuz the prize is set low and it's got a really cool controller. PS3 is just overpriced don't know how it works and the Xbox 360 is quite good actually especially because of xbox live.

gamespot tested the graphics for games for the xbox 360 and ps3 , xbox 360 is beter but the ps3 is just out and games havent used its full potential yet but xbox 360 seems to be second place as i think more people have more interest in the wii

yeah I saw those comparison in graphics at gamespot, quite amazing, we can't really judge yet though we need to wait till a game gets released that is made specially for PS3 aka MGS.

I'd argue it's a tie between the 360 and the Wii.

360 has the online setup, GoW, and a LOT of titles. It seems like one of the few things Microsoft's doing RIGHT.

Wii has innovation. Plus Nintendo titles. That's enough there.

Thus, I declare it a tie.

I had to vote for both PS3 and Wii.

I love nintendo, i was the most diehard fan... until i discovered Final Fantasy, then i bought a PS2... and now I am sucked into the world of FF, MGS and DMC...

i promised only for SquareEnix, but how could i resist Snake and Dante?


The Wii is a lot of fun though, but if we could only get some more FPS's. I bought the WiiZapper and now i have nothing to use it with... an enhanced MGS 2 or PO would be grand, kinda like the way they did MGS:TS for the GCN.
