A number of series' would be good... continuing storylines that show up every now and again... subplots of the comic so to speak.

That way there's some continuation between the comics, and new users may have to read a few of the past comics before totally understanding the comic of the week.

There's at least one recurring joke that I'm planning... you'll see the first instance very soon...

And I like the continuing plot idea as well, though I'll have to wait and see - a big part of the reason I only want these done weekly is that I don't want to get caught in a bind during midterms or something. For a story to work properly, I figure I'd need at least 2 comics a week. Which I may be able to do, I don't know - I'll have to wait and see.

Although I could always do a couple a week for special occasions... I know David Willis, who writes the webcomic Shortpacked!, will do 3 a week for standard jokes, and 5 a week when he's focusing more on story.
