I am Shaun Clark, I am 17years old, I am currently in 6FORM studying Computing, Media Studies ( camera, lights, action LOL ) and .... Welsh. I play football every weekend in my local mens league and train every wednesday night!! I drive a saxo 1.1, P reg.
When did you start to play online games, especially the C&C series?
Started playing ZeroHour in Decemeber 2004, playing ! 2v2 no rush/sw games with my brother, we teamed up, I was always air and he played a solid nuke!! lol.
We played most nights, after school for me and after work for him. I started to get more intrested in the game and played more when he was not with me developing my knowledge of the game.
I entered clanwars.cc in Febuary I think as [GAL]Sober^Hazard with some german friends, Fabbo, Frazuenart and homeboy english mate, DRAKEY.
I then carried on playing with them into generals.nl in the summer of 2005, met a lot of people as I grew better and played through all teh way untill late 2006 where I stopped playing CW where I moved over into generals, the oringial game before Zerohour and met my all time gla hero, eficko, we played together there and I managed to do well in generals along with zerohour.
I always flicked between both games, one month at generals I joined the legendary -[First] clan with VeDzz and spalding, I had got real good at the game then as was playing with a 85% win with gla vs all china and USA pros, I later won a genreals clan title under [FS] and was voted best GLA and most improved player of 2006 by fellow GR generals players.
I came back from generals to win my first warrior title as xG`PuKKa and after winning that title, I settled down and played on teamspeak with some mates and then basically awaited cnc3, on this wait I grapped a clan title also :P
Whats the history behind your online nicknames?
haha that is a intresting question!! I always get shreaded for my online nick names by clan mates... I normally used the word of the day archive I found on google for my nicks or randomly made some up... classics such as Doppelganger or KoaksinT and PUKKA, those gave me the worst times vs clan mates. I have used Apollo for about a year and few months now, it was the alias of a previous zerohour...

Since when do you play C&C3?
I played the demo as soon as it was released, and preordered the game which game out for the UK on the 29th March
How did you proceed to discover the game? Did you play campaign first, or did you play solo? Did you go online in the first minutes to make your nickname to play rated?
At the release of cnc3, I was getting ready to train for the i30 national UK lan, my clan mate had the game before me and was already playing. So I got online straight away and my first online game EVER on cnc3, was a 2v2cw, I took random and recived scrin and got absoultly battered
Tell us about the faction you love the most and explain us why.
I actually prefer playing scrin the most because it is the most creative army of all online, it has many options and more depth than GDI and NOD. I mostly play random whilst competitvity playing online or if not, I take NOD because of current balance issuses. When patch 1.5 arrives with new balance issues solved, I am sure I will be playing scrin
A word to describe your playstyle?
Agressive.
Which faction is your hardest opponent?
an abusive NOD player that knows how to play
Who do you like playing 1v1 against the most (player or/and nation)?
hmm I prefer playing against )ToT(aRRR, he is proberly the hardest player to play against at the moment and our games are always extremelely challenging. The best oppoenent I have faced online
What was the most enjoyable game you’ve ever played?
There has not been one single game that I have enjoyed the most, I enjoy cnc3 as a whole and all my games I play, I enjoy.
Who’s the best C&C3 player in your eyes?
Well there are still many I have not played against, but the best all round oppoenent I have played against in SKILL wise, is [OoE]Pilbots, I dont play much against him since he is my clan mate, but he plays random and still manages to smash all players and even defeats the lamest nod players with his random. He is by far the most skillful player in my eyes.
Tell us more please about your ingame strengths and your weaknesses.
Well my strengths is my adaptability, I can adjust to many differnet situations well and I have spine chilling spam. Every game I lose, I watch, I push out my weaknesses once I watch myself making them, so I try not have to many. My weakness is my boredom. I get bored of playing the most powerful army or using the same strat over and over, so sometimes I experiment which is costful in some games. which cause some of my loses.
People always ask for some tips. What is the best advice you can tell them?
Best tip I can give any new player or a player trying to improve is to watch your own loses, look what you did wrong and focus on what YOU did and not what your oppoenent did. Watch other replays and play the best players, playing vs the weak players will not get you anywhere.
How much time do you spend online per day/week?
Well, I have spent quite a bit of time recently I am constantly training and looking to win some form of tournament. I am looking to take the UK to the WCG in seattle, so playing casually is not an option. I have played 330 cw games since release and have entered some tournaments and played at a LAN also odd QM gaming. Maths
Do you look at a lot of recorded games?
Not as much really, I only download games from gamereplays.org that grab my attension, normally games that invovle top players or secret ooe clan topic for sharing replays
Let’s talk about your clan. From where are you all from, who are the good players and the n00bs, who’s the leader, why are you in this clan, when did you join, etc.? And give us the link please!
My clan is Order Of The Elite, [OoE]. We are the gamers who are speard all across the world, from America to Austrialia to Europe. We are all good players, the outstanding ones at the moment are Pilbots and i30 winners Dackel and Excal, there are no poor players in the cnc3 division tbh The leaders are [OoE]MiRaGE and [OoE]Trojan who founded the clan in 2004. I play in this clan, as towards the end of my ZeroHour career I started to become friendly with Spalding, MiRaGe and Trojan. and then got invited to play for them in cnc3. I joined almost a month before the release of cnc3, so around febuary. Who is your favourite player and clan?
I dont really have a favorite player, I enjoy playing with most players online who play CW, but my favorite clan is obviously [OoE] and [HH] / -MaD from ZH times, we had many good laughs with mates.
Who’s your usual 2v2 team-mate and why?
I played the i30 2v2 LAN tournament with ^General from gamereplays.org but now I have played the most 2v2 with proberaly [OoE]Blacklotus or [OoE]Gold_Dare but I dont really have a partner, I play with who ever is online

What do you think about EA staff and work?
The EA staff, well... I met Protagonist, the EA UK community manager at i30, he seemed nice enough. I think they are awaiting for all problems to come out before they release 1.5 instead of releasing it early and then 1week later ""another bug"", so thats what the delay is at the moment, I think there work is cool
Patch 1.05 is the next step for C&C3. What do you expect?
I expect for patch 1.5 that tank spamming wont be as effective as we will see more use of infantry and lots of different stratergies and tactics coming into play rather than the standard styles. I am looking forward to patch 1.5 to solve current balance issues.
Any thoughts about the Quick Search system?
The automatch system? Hmm its good for casual gamers I suppose, I dont personally play it because I find playing 10games and only meeting a decent game 1outofthe10 games boring..... I prefer to play clanwars.cc because all players have some playing standards Also more cheats and abuses are used on the official ladder.
How often do you come here on BTGN(if ever), and which type of threads do you read first?
I have overlooked your site for a while now, but more recently got invovled due to the cnc3 tournaments being played. I look over news about tournaments because the rest of my posting time is spent on gamereplays
Do u think u mite start visiting BTGN forums on your daily trip around to your friendly sites?

Let’s talk a bit about you. What do you plan in your real life in the next weeks/months/years?
Well I currently have A/S exams starting next month and then I finish school for a few months where I will start my next year in septemeber. I plan on playing a lot of cnc3 through the summer for training for WCG and obviously going out also. I have a LAN, i31, to attent at the start of August and then ill hopefully be going to America for the WCG later on. In the next few years, I will see how my gaming goes and my studing goes, depending at the time wether I will go to university or not, still few years away so still foggy.
Can you tell us what your daily schedule is?On a weekday, I wake up @ 8am, drive to school, come back around 2-4 depending on my lessons. Then normally start up cnc3 for the evening if I have nothing planned, if I do, its either football like wednesday nights or evening games, I also do random stuff like suddenly dispear out when some1 calls up or comes round, fellow TS users will know this

I have 3 brothers and 1 sister
