This thread isn't referring to the upcoming sequel, but to the original game.
I've been playing a lot of campaign stuff lately, so I'm fairly familiar with its mechanics once more.
Anyway, I'm curious - what did everyone hate/dislike about the original game? It doesn't have to be a balance criticism - it can be a gripe or frustration based on experience playing the game.
Myself, here's my big pet peeve list:
1. Arbiters - using stasis field. The most annoying ability in the game, especially when used against your fleet.
2. The "Torrasque" Ultralisk - that thing has to go down as the single most powerful unit in the game, I swear. It takes a TON of Siege Tanks to stop, and you'll usually lose a few. If I recall it does 50 damage a strike, has 800 HP AND very high armor - in other words, singlehandedly a base killer. And to top it off, it reincarnates until you kill that cerebrate.
