'Starcraft Online' confirmed?

There have been a few speculations and so GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com) posted about it. Here is a little part of it.

What we heard: What we know: Blizzard is working on a new massively multiplayer online game that doesn't involve the words "world" or "Warcraft." The problem, then, lies in which of the exceedingly popular properties the soon-to-be merged developer will be giving the MMOG treatment--or whether the game will even be a supersized version of an established IP at all. With Starcraft II definitely in the works, and Blizzard brass saying neither the Starcraft nor the Diablo franchises have been forgotten, speculation abounds that one--or both--IPs will be the basis for their next effort.

Actually I don't think it will be about SC but I kinda hope it will :p

I know starcraft was a great RTS game, ans so was Warcraft, but Im not particularly fond of its lore. Too childish imho. I personally like the more grim and realistic games.

StarCraft Ghost seemed like it was going to be big... than it was canned :(

Well, you may know more than I do, Sledge, but I'm under the impression Blizzard's trying to somehow rework Ghost's concept...

After all, they've made a point of NOT including it in lists of games that are canceled. And I've read elsewhere supposedly a LOT of the work was done. Granted, given the age of the graphics a lot would have to be overhauled.

I just had a few mins time to think about how would a "mmorpg" for StarCraft look. I would take a Dark Templar lol. Would be so great. :D
