Well, I've played the Beta and Demo, and I know quite a few people who have the game, so here's my oppinion. It really depends what sort of a game you're looking for. If you really liked the old Command and Conquer games like Red Alert, and you're looking for the same sort of experience, you'll definitely be disappointed. I personally really dislike the art design, but the graphics in general are pretty good quality. Unfortunately, good graphics aren't all what a game should be. If you're just a casual fan of RTS games you won't find a whole lot of innovation to mess around with, but it'll be a relatively enjoyable game. They do try to sell it to you on the basis that how they implemented naval combat is really groundbreaking, but from what I've seen, they went a little bit overboard and the water is just like blue looking land. I've heard the singleplayer campaigns are relatively good. The FMVs are decent, and same with the story. However, I am personally dissatisfied with how they stuck in a bunch of "hot girls" for sex appeal.
So, overall it really depends on what type of gamer you are. Unless you are a hardcore C&C fan I think you'll find it at least pretty enjoyable.

Thanks for the info. I have heard some pretty bad reviews of the game. Only really wanted it to relive the memory tbh, like i used to play red alert a lot when i was a kid on the playstation lol. I'll maybe get the demo but I don't think ill be getting this.
Sounds like another wasted, rushed game from ea

yeah... if you really wanted to relive the fun of RA1, look elsewhere.
I actually think they did a decent job with the game. The problem is, they were aiming in the wrong direction to begin with.
I'm personally a big fan of RA1, and I'd much rather LAN that up than play RA3. They could have done so many cool things with RA3, but no... In the original press release for the game they said they were trying to make it wacky. From that point on, it only got worse.
